How would you spend $6 billion?

Apply HERE* to be a student representative on the UC Task Force on Undergraduate Priorities in the Capital Campaign.

Harvard will launch a five-year Capital Campaign during the fall of 2013 that will seek to raise at least $6 billion, making it one of the largest campaigns ever run by an institution of higher education.

The FAS priorities for the campaign include (1) Financial Aid (2) House Renewal and the Student Experience (3) Current-use unrestricted funds (4) School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) (5) Faculty and Academic Initiatives and (6) Teaching and Learning.

The UC has charged the Undergraduate Priorities in the Capital Campaign Task Force (1) to review literature and past undergraduate involvement in Campaign priorities, (2) to provide feedback regarding the priorities of the Capital Campaign, (3) to help ensure FAS campaign priorities and undergraduate opinion are aligned and address any fundamental disagreements, and (4) to educate and raise awareness about the Campaign among undergraduates.

The Task Force will be comprised of ten students with unique undergraduate perspectives and interests regarding the campaign priorities. The Task Force will meet monthly starting in February 2013 and conclude in October 2013. Student representatives will spend time outside of meetings soliciting student feedback and preparing materials for presentation at the monthly meetings.
