Executive Board

The Executive Board serves as a steering committee for the council. The UC Constitution outlines the composition of the Executive Board and the UC Bylaws grant it various administrative powers in a variety of areas.

Executive Board Membership

The Executive Board includes six voting members, the UC President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, EdCom Chair, FiCom Chair, SIC Chair, SLC Chair, and SRC Chair. The UC President and Vice President are popularly elected each November for calendar year terms that run from the Spring Term to the end of the following Fall Term. The UC Treasurer and Secretary are elected by the full council at the last meeting of the Fall Semester in December for year-long terms. Similarly, each committee chair is elected each semester by their respective committees for year-long terms.

In addition, the Executive Board includes a number of appointed and elected ex officio non-voting members. The Parliamentarian, Rules Committee Chair, and Budget Cuts Task Force Chair are all appointed by the UC President. Ad Hoc Committee Chairs are either elected or appointed according to their charter legislation.

Other than the UC President and Vice President, all members of the Executive Board also serve as elected representatives on the Undergraduate Council by their respective Houses or Yards.

All of these people shall be non-voting members of the board. The Executive Board shall be charged with compiling the week's docket of legislative business.
