| George is a sophomore concentrating in Engineering Sciences. On the Student Initiatives Committee, he's working on expanding UC TKTS and organizing the SIP Fund, and on FiCom, he's dedicated to making applying for UC funding more reliable than ever. | Souvik joined the UC because his interest in politics and service through politics has been piqued lately through many of the classes he's taken. He also heard about the changes made by some of the presidential candidates around campus, real substantive changes, that have inspired him to try to do his part to represent the interests of students around campus. Souvik hopes to be able to be a good UC representative for the people living in Winthrop House, and he hopes to make the UC responsive to their needs. | Maria is a sophomore from Wellesley, MA. She currently lives in Winthrop House, and participates in many student groups, such as Elganza2010, CityStep, Expressions, and the UC. She is also a member of the SRC, Student Relations Committee and specifically oversees the creation of posters with her fellow SRC member, Luis Martinez.
